She has resigned from her U.N. job so as not to have diplomatic immunity and continue with her trial, which she seeks to publicize to bring awareness to the plight of women in Sudan. Her trial has been adjourned until Monday. She has been sending invitations to her lashing. If the lashing is supposed to humiliate as well as to physically wound, it isn't working. She is doing what needs to be done.
